Time to dust off my cookie recipes

Now that it is getting closer to Christmas it is time for me to search out and decide what cookie recipes I will be using.
I like to make a variety of drop, roll, and bar cookies. They look so nice on a Christmas plate, so festive.
I usually make about 10 trays and give them to acquaintances as a happy holiday wish.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am all about homemade and handmade.
Do you make holiday cookies?

A few years ago I decided to make cookies and messed up three recipes for sugar cookies..I can do toll house and that's about it!

@HazySue I a not a cookie maker at all except those. I won't waste ingredients to try again!

Yes i love holiday cookies but not around to ever make any. I miss making sugar cookies and being able to frost and decorate them.
