Repeal the ban on publicly funded elections

California has a new ballot initiative which aims to repeal the almost 30 year old ban on publicly funded elections: #caFREEact The free act, if it gets enough signatures, will repeal the ban and direct the legislature to draft legislation. Personally, I wish we had drafted our own ballot measure, but oh well. Crossing fingers...

Oh God why now. I am not a voter but I know my mom is and she lives in this state. I live in a French state and I vote here when it is a good cause and an important election.

@dawnald Yap she sure does. That was where she was born. She meet my dad there and got married. We lived in France because that is where my dad is from. When he retired they moved back to California because my grandma was there.
