Well Done Nano Writers

November’s National Novel Writing project is rolling again, encouraging new authors to create a full length novel of 50,000 words in November’s 30 day span. This requires writing daily for those involved. I don’t do it as I write all the year round anyway and I have several projects in progress at any given time. I do know lots of writers who do the Nano, with a few even sharing their work and news of their progress here on Mylot. I do hope most writers involved in the project won’t stop on December 1st. The beauty of Nano is that it encourages writers to make time to write, and shows how much can be penned in a few hours. Most novels produced might not be publishable but some may be – and I hope the authors don’t abandon their creations or give up writing. I also hope Nano continues for many years to come. I was toying with the idea of doing Nano this year - but I found an excuse not to. BUT I have a new desk and a comfy seat, so I will be working on lots of projects in the near future. I like the concept of Nano though - as you say it encourages the writer to make time to write.

from what I saw here your writing is good enough - you can't separate good story and good writing - the terms are intertwined - Hamlet badly written would not endure as a great story.

@arthurchappell that is a big challenge to all writers. I too have too many things going on the join in but I always do the 30 day poetry challenge in April.
