Ah the snooze button we all want that extra five minutes the snooze button is probably the best thing since sliced bread.
Well we set our alarms because we have school age kids and we need to make sure they are at the bus stop or else they/we are walking.
Normally my wife is the one who wakes up first before everyone and she shuts the alarm off before it goes off. So no snoozing needed.
She decided that it was unnecessary to have the snooze set seeing as she not only wakes up before the alarm goes off but she doesn't go back to bed.
She turned the snooze off on her alarm and since I had nowhere to go today because I have knee pain and can barely stand I turned my alarm off too.
She woke up when the alarm went off and turned it off and apparently didn't get out of bed. She said she was laying there and the next thing she knew she open her eyes again and it was
7:40 am.
Which means the bus was just arriving at the bus stop. There was no way she would be able to get our son up and ready in time to make it to the bus in time.
The school bus stop is just outside of the park we live in. Which we can make it to the entrance from our place in about 4 minutes walking and 2 if they run and cross through people's yards.
So she figured since she was already late she wouldn't stress it and walk. She made him breakfast while he got dressed and ready and they left.
She was walking him so I was expecting her to be gone at least an hour. I stayed with the little one. She came back in about 15-20 minutes. I said that was fast she said they got lucky and got spotted by someone who offered me a ride.
She decided that even though she doesn't use the snooze she is going to keep it just in case. We don't want this to happen again.

Thank goodness they got a ride.
Yes sometimes our body does not always do the same thing.
Best to keep the snooze on your wife is right.

@TiarasOceanView Hopefully soon we can get a car and eventually they put up some sidewalks for pedestrians. This way if we do have to walk its not so bad.

I think it was because she was up late last night and its probably why she was more tired than usual. Yes walking would have taken them at least 25 minutes. Even though its not far but no sidewalk so they have to be super careful not to fall in the ditch and not get hit by a car and at the same time. He walks slow though lol

@Drosophila it is because you then know you don't have to rush we are usually pretty busy and on the go everyone had a chaotic schedule.

yes she is high strung sometimes which is why she usually plans to do things way ahead of time to avoid adding more stress to herself by hurrying and she forgets stuff and then she gets mad. She gets up an hour before just to prepare to make that 4 minute walk. He is pretty fast to get ready 5 minutes to go bathroom brush get dressed and she usually is there 10 minutes early.
