Oh 504 we meet at last. You may be the most annoying number since those twin goons in the UK who have a phone number as their name in the constantly repeated TV phone service ads. I just saw 502 a few minutes ago. Are you related? Is there any difference? You're a Gateway Error. Is that any way to make a living? Denying others free access to the Internet, frustrating our efforts to post and read at the most inopportune times. You might as well boast of being a burglar or a mugger. You leave us worrying if our favorite sites are down, or if our own computer is in some way to blame. Sometimes you hit everyone at once. Other times you seem to just hit me. I'm beginning to take it personally. What did I ever do to offend you? Perhaps you could leave me and my friends alone for a while, say 504 years. I should present you with a bill for the lost earnings caused by your interference, but if I send it to you online you'll probably just 504 it. Maybe you should change your number - how about 666?
