Where do you spend the Holidays?

As we grow up, Holidays are a time to spend with family and close friends, regardless of choice. But what happens when you’ve grown up, and you want to spend holidays with your boyfriend or girlfriend in other place?
Is it more important to stay together as a couple and spend the holidays with each other, or is it better to separate and celebrate with your own family? Do you reserve certain holidays to visit your family, and then plan to spend other holidays with your partner's?

its depend on us because if we want to go with family and with someone special also.so if i married then once go with family and once couple tour.we have to give equal time to both of them because we love both.if sh is my gf then first try to tell her with family and sometimes we going alone.

Thank you for sharing!.I will give that kind of advice to my niece who is having a hard time thinking where to spend holidays...I suggest family first but how about her boyfriend and his family...

@hlfbldmom I just think that everyone like to spend time with family and also true hsppiness is also get from it .so we have to give prefrance to family not only us but their family also and in sometimes you also enjoy in couple. So both are happy.

@hlfbldmom well, we are in luck that we are far from either of my family or my husband's. We do not need to choose who's family we will go first. Haha!

This holiday me and my daughter will spend it with my family as her father are miles away and we are in bad terms so...happy being with my family...

When my husband was alive, we spent Christmas at home and we invited our parents. We thought that Christmas was where children were. We usually spent New Year´s eve with my family in law and after 12 we went partying with friends.

Thats a great thing during holidays where we can spend our time with families and party with friends. Time out from everything and just be happy.

My husband doesn't speak to his family so we usually spend the Holidays with my family. This year were far from my family so we spent the day with close friends.
