Expensive internet connectivity

I couldn't log in to myLot and other sites as the "balance" in my usb stick [dongle] dropped to zero. Internet connectivity is quite expensive here.It is really impossible to earn cents and spend dollars on internet. I hear it is free in some countries. Vodaphone charges INR 179 for 1GB, that is, about 3 dollars. Idea takes less but it doesn't well here. I bought an Idea SIM yesterday but I'm feeling cheated. It doesn't work well for me. With so many hurdles before me I am not happy.
