If you're going to photograph your cat...

...it helps to have a camera that they like. My Canon, that I've had for a while and still use occasionally, made some type of noise that my cat hates. So she'd never hold still for photos. My new Nikon is much more cat-friendly and all she does is look at it interestedly, making for some great pictures.
So if you have trouble photographing your cat, maybe it's the camera!

Great shot and very beautiful cat. I have one cat who is more photogenic the the other. He's a ham really. I usually take photos with my phone so no noise.

I never thought about the noise the camera made, I could see thought that causing problems or helping
