Maintain Oral Hygiene if you suffer from Diabetes...

Person with diabetes mellitus is advice to maintain a healthy oral hygiene. It is because people with diabetes is said to be 2 times more prone to develop gum diseases so it is very important for the people who have this kind of disease to take good care of its oral condition. When a person has a diabetes mellitus, the body of the infected person becomes more susceptible to bacterial infection which can led to weaken your immune system to fight bacteria in your gums. Fortunately, there are simple ways also on how you can take care of your oral health if you have diabetes. One would be to brush your teeth regularly using a tooth paste which is formulated for gum problems.

Oh I am not gonna wait till I get diabetes! I take good care of oral hygiene everytime!! Maximum diseases start because of poor oral hygiene!!

Diabetes patients are prone to every type of diseases including problem of teeth. They should take more care about themselves in every aspect, else they land in deep trouble. PS - I didn't see on mylot lately? Hope everything is fine at your end.

@ashuli yes, hygiene is absolutely necessary to save ourselves from falling ill and a diabetic patient needs to be extra careful about his health and fitness. So you are seriously pursuing your other writing assignment and didn't find time for mylot. Our best wishes are with you.

@dpk262006 actually hygiene is important for all, its just diabetic people need to stay extra careful... Actually its not that I din't find time for myLot, was getting all the notifications in my email, but had to meet few deadlines so just used to check the notification thru email only... as u too will agree once you come here on myLot its impossible to leave the place before 1 hr...

yes they are prone to all kinds of diseases and also their healing time is almost double as compared to a normal person... Been busy with other writing assignments n I did miss my myLot friends...

yes and if a diabetic person gets infected or has some wound, that also takes extra time to heal, due to high sugar levels...
