I want a smartphone Sat Nav app that does not require internet or wifi to use. So far I have come across only Scout that enables this but again it uses internet for most of its functions so it would be useless to use unless I pre plan my route before a journey.
Does anyone know of a free smartphone app that uses just normal Sat Nav features to guide us to our destinations without the need of the internet?
Preferably for the iPhone 4s :D

Oh, fudge. There's one for Android that I tested through Mechanical Turk a while ago, but I can't remember what the name was. I'll have to look through my account to see if I can find it. It had a massive file to download initially, but once that was on the device it could work offline without any issues. I think they mentioned that there was also an iPhone-compatible version.

Sorry I don't, I use Goggle maps on mine and it seems to work ok. What data size do you have? I'm on the bigger bundle one on o2 and have the 2GB of data. I didn't that plan until a month or so ago, but gave them a ring because I'd been on the same one for about 3 or 4 years.

I never knew this existed until you mentioned it! I hope you find this feature for your phone.
