Does a time come where you start losing your old friends and really wish this doesnt happen? Suppose your bestie in your school or college. This may happen to a lot of people, not sure. But I wanna know from those who may have experienced this, what to do? I dont want them to be out of my life! I want to cherish those old memories with them and spend time with them. Reason for me to lose some of my school bestie's would be due to my school change for high school and also the language barrier as I didnt know the language of the state I am living in

Circumstances make us drift apart and this needs to be accepted.

The fact that you go to school with someone doesn't mean that you'll be friends for the rest of your life. People develop and not always in the same way. Interests and tastes change. You'll find new friends who share them.

Well, yea, its true that you wont be friends for life with the people you go to school with. Not all, but there a few. So... Yeap, sure gotta learn this. Life has just embarked on a new journey for me, new things to learn and experience... :D

It is part of life, and you just have to get on with life. People change, and we change too. it is not possible to have a friend from childhood to old age and the friendship remains the same as ever. At some point, you will get distance, and maybe later on in life get closer with your old friends.

Well, yea. To some point I do agree to your point. For me, i'm a first year eng student and finished 10th 2 years back. In the school I was during 10th, i had been there from 3rd grade. Made a lot of friends and did lose also. But that was like childhood, so we dont think much about it. I am losing friends of my 10th class batch and I had been with them for 3 continuous years. After that I had my school shifted. Thats what bothers me a bit. I try to have contact with them and sometimes they reply. When they reply, its like a 10 lines chat and done.

As you get older your lives tend to go off in different directions, you take up new interests and jobs, location, etc. put you in different social circles. It is a sad fact of life. But hopefully there will be some friends that you will stay in contact with, regardless of these changes.
