Yesterday Diesel Dog and I went out after dusk on our walk. We walked along the usual route past the house where the couple have broken up. Let's call him Jeff. (not his real name). As we walked past the house it seemed that there was some activity taking place. Lights were on both inside and outside. The sound of dogs barking at the back could be heard as was the sound of children playing.. My first thought was that maybe the family were back together again. Deez and I walked along the street and I could hear the sound of a motor or engine starting up from Jeff's place. Now by this time the sun had set and as is the way in this part of the world darkness falls quickly. This caused me to wonder, what was Jeff doing with a loud motor going in the dark?. I knew that there was a swimming pool at the front of the house. Could he be emptying the pool or filling it up with a high powered hose? And why at this time in the evening? Unfortunately, I have not found any answers as yet. Tonight Diesel and I went past the house again only to find shutters were drawn, there were no lights and no sounds ensuing from the house. Still tomorrow is another day and perhaps I will discover what this mystery is all about.
