People Who Drink and Chew Too Loudly!!

I am a very patient person. But there is something about the sounds of someone slurping their drinks or chewing their food...making that smacking sound with their lips that literally makes my heart beat a bit faster.
I try hard to think that it's fine. Everyone is different and it's not a big deal but nope. It is so frustrating. I don't understand why it bothers me so much. And I also don't understand how people can be THAT loud.
I am never rude like tell someone to shut up because I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or self-conscious but it REALLY bugs me! Like when people YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN loudly. Again, everyone is different. Maybe their loud yawning helps them relax more I seriously have no idea but that also makes my blood boil.
What's the deal with the loud drinkers and eaters?
And why do people like me get irritate by them?

How would you like someone to call you on the phone while they are eating? All that chopping right in your ear! My brother used to do that to me all the time until I told him if he didn't knock it off I would hang up on him. And I did. I look at it this way, if I call and he is eating, that's one thing. But there is no reason why he should call me when he is eating. He can wait until he is done eating. I never call anyone when I'm eating. To me it's just rude.

oh my god I would HATE that. A friend I used to have when I was in high school used to do it. Felt like I wanted to punch her through the phone lol.
I agree with you. Just seems logical to do so.

@Daljinder LOL awwww! I haven't seen your hands before so I can't judge but I'm sure there not!
BUT also, I have found that people who have annoyed me / hurt me a lot in the past are the ones who are more prone for me going nuts when hearing them chew!
So you're safe. For some reason the sounds don't bother me otherwise. At least I think I am....haven't had much of a chance to test this theory.

@VivaLaDani13 Duly noted! So I would make sure all the chips are eaten before a call is made to Danielle. Not that I make any calls lol at least not voluntarily. Sometimes I think I have fat fingers or thumb

@Daljinder Compared to the mainland Chinese, Indians are very tame.
After mainland Chinese, you have to count the Filipino group before you can count the Indians.

My husband slurps his spaghetti noodles and it took me a while to get used to it. Lol. At first it annoyed me, but now well it's just him.

I absolutely hate people scratching their plates with a spoon or a fork. Aargh!!!! And then the burping, dear lord. I pray for patience at that moment.

Oh yeah that sound makes my blood go cold!
HAHA I know what you mean. I don't mind when people give a little burp because better out than in but I get a bit annoyed when people deliberately give a loud and long burp.
