Background on why I listened to this book: Last week I saw a website talking about books they recommend. It said if you liked Gone Girl, you will like this book too. I loved Gone Girl and this book sounded like a good book. I was going to look it up on Digital Library, but then I forgot to do it. Then @DeborahDiane wrote about the book so I looked it up and put it in my wish list until after Thanksgiving. Monday it came available. I finished listening to today. The Girl on the Train is by: Paula Hawkins. I'm not going to give everything away. I'm not going to spoil the book, but I'm giving a hint what it is like at the end of this post. The Girl on The Train is about a woman named Rachel. She rides the train everyday. She looks a house when the trian and makes up stories about the couple that lives there. Then something horrible happens to the woman who lives in the house. Rachel ends up being involved in a twisted mystery that she desperately tries to solve. I did like this book. I found out on IMDB that there will be a movie of this book released next year. I hope the movie does the book justice. Here's the hint: the book is little like the old classic movie Gaslight.

I read a post about this book not too long ago here in MyLot. I saved the name of the book and will look for it in my Library near me. I like to read new things. I think for my New Years resolution I will make it that I will start reading again.
