My Eye!!

I don't know what happened to my eye? I woke up yesterday and it was red and swollen and I put a hot rag n it and some of the swelling went down but I woke up again today because last night my husband said to put a potato on it so he slice a piece of a potato in a circle and I out in on my eye and the selling went down more but now it is red again and I don't have any eye drops. Does anyone know what I can do? Thank you. My husband said he would try to come home early so I could go to Doctor but by the time he gets here they will be closed and I was wondering if maybe someone in the Pharmacy at Walgreens could help? What do you think?

First I just have to mention that I have never heard of the potato thing before.
But I am sorry about your eyes. I'm guessing seeing someone about it is the best thing you can do. Hopefully it is nothing serious at all. All the best!
