The Snow is on Vacation (A Poem)

The snow is on vacation.
It is nowhere in sight.
You can't find it in the day.
You can't find it at night.
Perhaps it's hibernating
Somewhere far away.
I cast my eyes to the sky,
But it doesn't come out to play.
The snow is teasing our minds.
It's being fickle, but that's alright.
One of these days it'll come back
Much to young children's delight

Snow is pretty when it's falling softly, but it's no fun to shovel the stuff.
