Very tempted to book a Royal Caribbean cruise in the coming promotion

Royal Caribbean has announced that it will have a 72 hours sales promotion started from 7 December. The sale is valid for most cruise trips except China departure. I think China cruises are always full, so there is no need to have sale. However, the trip I have in mind is at the end of next year. It is too early for me to make a commitment to travel. I prefer to book much closer to the sale date, though I afraid that the price will be different. This sale promotion includes 50% off for second traveler, and we get $350 onboard credit for Balcony cabin. If I book during the sale period, I get to save $500, and get extra $350 to spend on shore excursion. I wonder if I should take a risk and book now.

I understand where you are coming from. Best idea I have is to ask someone who deals with this sort of thing personally and see what they recommend. Otherwise, I think you should go for it. It will suck a lot if the price does drop afterwards but the price that it is at now is probably way better than other times. Just go for it. Life is too short! Plan it then enjoy it! Sounds like a lovely thing to do. Would be beautiful!

I know the sale is good. I just am not sure if my family can go on that trip a year later. There is a cancellation charge if we need to cancel. I think the price cannot drop lower because that is already a very good offer. The advantage of booking early is that I get to choose a good cabin.

@VivaLaDani13 I still have a few days to think about. I think you can consider this offer too. There are many cruise trips originating from Freemantle in Perth.
