She Didn't Reply

I used to text her and she would reply immediately. But that already changed. I texted her last Sunday and up to this moment, it's almost a week, I didn't get any response. I was talking about the caretaker at our apartment in Manila. I used to text her when I would send my monthly rentals. She would text back minutes later after receiving my message. But since last month, it was taking longer to have a reply from her. And my last text last Sunday was never replied. Well, it was just a thank you message for her and maybe she had read it but never bothered to reply anymore since there are no more obligations between the two of us - she no longer works for the apartment and I am no longer an occupant there, too. So, maybe she didn't feel the need to reply anymore. When you receive a text message, do you respond immediately?

Yes, i text back once i have read it . Though , some times if i am at home , my phone would be at the bedroom while i am at the kitchen . But nowadays , i always have it with me in my pocket. But in your case , she could have said welcome . Though , it could be that she's scrimping on her phone load .

@brokenbee So maybe she is guilty of taking them , that's why she didn't reply at all anymore. Have you not asked her about them ?

@SIMPLYD I didn't ask her anymore because she can just easily deny things and I don't know if she was the one who took some of my things or the new caretaker or they just threw them away when they fixed my things. But I am still thankful that I still got most of my things there.

Until now, I never heard a word from her. Well, I discovered that I have some things that were not put inside my bags. But they are not that valuable but they have some sentimental value. Now, they are gone.

when I cannot text back, it could be either:1) my cell phone's battery is drained and needs recharge; 2) I have no more load; and 3) the conversation is already finished. Otherwise, I text and text especially if the person at the other line of the phone is a friend.

Hmmm yes Ate. You always reply when I send you a message. Thank you! Until now, I didn't receive a reply from my former caretaker.

So the Caretaker is no longer interested to keep the communication open between the two of you. That is so obvious.

If I am not busy I will respond quickly but if I'm busy sometimes it takes me a little while. I do have little ones that take up most of my time and attention.

Yes, it is understandable when a person is busy and can't reoly right away, as long as they would reply when they are no longer busy.

I always try to respond to a text as a show of good manners. Maybe she was busy or she was not interested anymore?

I also respond to text messages especially if they are important and if I know the sender, Sometimes, I receive spam text messages and just ignore them.
