So, I'm done airing my negative energy. Here is something amazing! My 15 year old daughter got a letter in the mail last week from Stanford, inviting her to a program that lets high school students study there over the summer, earn college credit, stay in the dorms, etc. It is $13000 for the program, which I have none of, but there is a financial aid grant that covers a small portion of it. I want to fund raise for the remainder of it, because it sounds like such an exciting experience! She works so hard, gets such good grades, and she would be so happy if she could go. I want to make this happen for her. I don't want my financial status stand between her and her future. She is so amazing, talented, intelligent, the list goes on. She deserves this! I am so proud of her!
