Released in 2000, this is one of the strangest fun songs and videos of all time. Its mix of characters and images include teachers, ghosts, singing skeletons, pensioners on drums, an ape, a bird, a ventriloquist, Mexicans, cowboys and more besides. The hinging story concerns Dexter, expelled from school for being psychotic. Quite how rapping psychiatrists and the wacky characters of this surreal malarkey will help him is anyone’s guess. I love this as it is utterly bonkers. The song is actually entirely composited from sampling other material but very neatly done and for once, highly original. Arthur Chappell
