Participating on surveys to earn money / myLot

I have never earned money by doing surveys. Actually, I have never participated in the paid surveys even though my friends tell me surveys are good ways to earn some cash. What are some of the best survey sites for international users.

I wouldn't say surveys are a good way to earn money. They are an easy way to make a few cents while watching TV. I don't know which ones are available outside of Canada.
