The Competition

I am a dancer. And as a dancer, we always battle with other dance groups. We joined the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) last December 5-6. It was our first competition and we felt nervous, uncomfortable and it's hard to focus. We tried our best, yet we lost. But at first, we didn't expect to win because the other competitors are a lot stronger than us. We danced and danced and danced but we didn't win. Even though we didn't win, we have learned a lot of lessons. We realized that it really doesn't matter if you got 8th or 1st place. We always remember that scores are just simply three people's opinion. We don't want to lose again so we're going to train hard for the next competition and we'll try to win.
