How effective is the swim diapers to your babies?

I usually use swimming diapers to my baby though not all are thick, there is one that is just thin like she was just wearing a underwear. It never happened that my baby poop on the pool though of course what if she did it in the middle of swimming lesson? Who has experience on how effective is the swimming diaper even if the baby poop on the pool?
