Lamb goes happily to the slaughter

Sometimes I do think that many of us are behaving like stupid lambs which go happily to the slaughter. When I go to the shops to buy some things, I can see a long queue of people waiting for their turn for the state lottery outlet. They can wait patiently for hours just to pay the government their hard earned money. This is really a classic case of lamb to the slaughter. It seems stupid to think of all means to reduce your income tax, and then you go eagerly to the outlet to pay more money than the savings on the income tax. Nothing is more pitiful than lambs that rush eagerly and happily to the slaughter.
