Black Sheep of the Family

I hear often how my various cousins and brother are so successful and talented and how I'm not. They are also all attractive and popular and have their lives put together... and I don't. They are everything that we should be proud about, and that's not me. They are all extroverts and I'm the only introvert. I'm the black sheep of the family. But it's always been like that, so... It doesn't bother me. I'm the tallest of all of us, so at least in that respect they have to look up at me. I'm also the most creative, which unless it's properly channeled it looks like I have no talent. Aside from that, it is what it is. I have had my share of difficulties in life, and I guess that's just how it goes. As long as this black sheep stands on top later on, that's all that I really care about.

I am also the black sheep of my family but I am also the most compassionate and care about people the most-so I am okay with it. I can sleep well at night knowing I am a good person. =)

I have big plans and good intentions, so at least I'm thinking in that realm.

Certainly, with their lifestyles and the stress in them I would start to break apart. I have to live a low stress lifestyle or I am in great amounts of pain (because stress brings back symptoms of a serious injury).

Maybe? I think it's happened before and it's worth a try!

I never liked being the black sheep of the family. It does not feel good to feel like you're not valued at all.

Yes. And despite being with family you still feel alone. It's a bad feeling to have when you should be happy.

I think success is relative, it really depends on what you want and how happy you are, which only you can measure

@OneOfMany would they ever think you had? People who think they are more successful and better will always think so, no matter what you might appear to have... I guess we need to win the lotto, so we can roll up in a gold limo? lol
