Knowledge is power when it comes to the inflow and outflow of your money

It is strange that the rich who have a lot more money always know about the inflow and outflow of their money. You would think that it is easier to keep track of a thousand dollars than a million dollars. That is apparently not true in the real world. The rich always know where their money is going, and how much is coming in. The poor knows how much is coming in, and not where the money is going. They know that they have no money by the end of the month, but not where every single cent is going. This shows that knowledge is power when it comes to money matter. If you do not know where your money is going, you cannot control your money. The rich always know the outflow of their money, and they keep track of the big and small sum of money. They keep the receipts for their meals too.

"The poor knows how much is coming in, and not where the money is going." Yes they do but it doesn't mean they do/can control it. The rich keep their receipts for their meals then say it was a 'business' dinner anbd deduct it on their taxes!

If they use it to pay bills, they will know where the money has gone to. If they use the money for impulse spending, they will complain that they do not know where the money has gone to. They do not have a budget, and they do not stick to a budget. That is the whole problem.

Poor people are not conscious of spending money. That is the problem. They cannot tell you that they have budgeted $100 for grocery, $50 for transportation because they do not make up a budget.
