Do You Like Sangria?

One of my favorite drinks is Sangria. I have my own special recipe that I make when my three gal pals are coming over for an evening of card playing. I will share it with you. I make four pitchers full so everyone has their own pitcher. In each pitcher, I combine a bottle of dry red wine (750 ml.) I/2 cup rum, 1/2 cup of sugar and a sliced lemon, one lime, sliced and one sliced orange. Chill for at least two hours. Then, I set out on the counter, some things they can mix in, if they want to create their special taste. Berries, Sparkling Water, Fruit Liqueurs, Ice and Fresh Mint. Omigosh! They love it. I have lots of snacks and we are ready to play some cards. I'll tell you about a couple simple card games we play on another post.
