Thunderstorms

I absolutely love them. One time we had a storm and we switched all the lights off to see the lightning better, and I rushed downstairs to go into the conservatory for a better view, but I didn't know that someone had closed our double glass door and I ran straight into it and split my nose open.

I love them if the magnitude is nominal.

I love thunderstorms, I take pictures of lightning! But I also have a big respect for lightning. I do get a bit nervous when the strikes start getting way too close though. Closest so far was 40 meters away! That gives me the appsolute willies!

I like them, my daughter on the other hand doesn't like thunder.

I dont mind thunderstorms as long as they arent the real bad ones that are taking the trees out and stuff

I have answered a similar Q on other forums. Here is my reply: I love storms if I am indoors, at night. Love to sit with a blanket around my legs, a cup of hot tea or coffee, the window with the screens/curtains drawn on one side (so that the lightening doesn't blind, if sitting facing the window, but some flashes are sometimes so strong, if close by that you could get momentarily blinded), maybe reading or watching something, my family huddled close, my youngest son with his head on my lap or his mother's lap, all of us speaking in hushes, just huddling close, no fear of storms in me though. Maybe a small lamp, or in the dark.

I love them. The only thing I dont like is when the power goes out when you are in the middle of doing something. On the other hand when that has happened, there weren't as many distractions in my house and it was good for family time.

thunderstorms???????? they have never scared the crap outta me...they never will!!!!!!!..cos i used to sleep in cemetary,during my childhood!!!!!!

no.i will scare if i hears Thunder sound.I just close my ears with cotton.I like rain without thunder.

I love thunder storms. I find there so romantic. There is nothing better than cuddling up on the couch under a blanket with your partner during a storm. But, we don't have very bad ones out here.
