I learned to water ski in the East China Sea when I lived in Okinawa, Japan. I LOVE telling people that story. How many people have learned to water ski in the East China Sea? I wonder. Well, I really did!
Since then I have heard that some GIANT sea life live in that sea. Had I known that then, I'm sure that I would not have done it. Oh well, I survived.
That's one of the many reasons that I have this sign up in my office. I can read it from here. It says: "Some days I look back on my life and I'm extremely impressed that I'm still ALIVE."
I have many tales to tell about that subject. I'm sure that I will be sharing more stories in the near future.

Yes, me too. There is some kind of giant crab there that is like 6 feet across. I read about it somewhere. I think it stays close to the bottom but yikes!

@IreneVincent I worry about sharks a bit here in CA. But I don't swim in the ocean here in Northern California. I did in Santa Barbara.

I think so too. I have survived quite a few things in my life, including some serious health issues.

I used to love it, but it's on my "never do again" list now. Since I've gotten older, I have had to add a lot of things to that list, like bowling, snow skiing, riding horses, roller skating, etc.
