I never knew this until I saw a program on television recently. As always, I jot things down in my notebook and I had forgotten about it until today as I was looking for some other information and came across this notation.
When I first heard what the narrator said, I could not believe it could possibly be true. Well, here are the facts I wrote down.
Vatican City is the smallest country in the world. And it IS a country. It measures only one-fifth of a square mile, about the size of 100 football fields.
Russia, the largest country in the world is 39 million times larger, the narrator said. He didn't give the square miles and I intended to look that up, but anyone can do that, right?
I'm sure he wouldn't have said it, if it wasn't a true fact. Amazing!
Now I have learned a new piece of trivia, that I think will dazzle almost anyone.
What do you think? Is it true or not?
