Who Likes To Go Camping?

Of course, WINTER is not the season for camping and it's almost winter here in the U.S.
I came across some photos recently though, of a camping trip we took several years ago. In past years, we have taken many camping trips, but we don't do it anymore. Our kids still do but not me.
We had all the right equipment, air mattresses and sleeping bags and lanterns and cook stoves. But, I finally said "no more" after a week-end of rain, sleet and wind. Miserable weather for camping. We got rid of all those things. The one thing that I purchased recently is some things for an emergency "go-bag." I'm still working on putting those together for my family. I really need to get them done. And I want to purchase a couple lanterns too.

Yes, in an RV is the best way to camp or in a cabin with several amenities on hand, like a bathroom. LOL

Mine either now. I used to enjoy it when I was younger. It is pouring down the rain here today. I just picked up my grandson from school. They have half days before the holiday break. He's going to NC with me.
