I've got three right now, waiting for me to work when I start hibernating for the winter. I'm taking one with me to NC, because my daughter-in-law enjoys working them together with me. She will probably have one too, waiting for me.
It's something that we have been doing together for years. We talk as we work the puzzle and catch up on everything that's been going on in our lives. She's a teacher so she has a couple weeks off from school as does my grandson, which is why I go to visit them over the break from school.
My son doesn't participate, but sometimes my grandson will help us out, finding a particular piece that we can't find for some reason. He has a good eye for finding the missing pieces. He is going with me again this year.

I'm looking forward to getting started on the puzzle once I get to NC. I sure hope the weather is cooperative as I have to drive about 5 hours to get there. And as soon as I get there, we are going to an anniversary party for my son's nephew and his wife. We did the same thing last year. Their anniversary falls the same week that we go every year, just before the holidays.

I am banned from solving Jigsaw puzzles. The reason I used to get those 5,000 piece impossible puzzles given to me for Christmas and would then become obsessed by the puzzle, not coming up for air till it was solved.

@IreneVincentI love doing jigsaw puzzles. We just finished one of a country scene with a log cabin, creek and snow.
