Do you suffer from running nose when you are in air-conditioning room?

I know of many people who suffer terribly in an air-conditioning room. I have met many such colleagues over the years. They need to buy large boxes of tissue papers on a weekly basis. They use about one big box in a day. By the end of the work day, their nose is red. I wonder what is the cause of this problem. They are certainly healthy otherwise.

Yes, I will sneeze a lot in an air-conditioning room. Sometimes it is because it is too cold. And sometimes I think it is because it is not the fresh air and my nose will be sensitive to it. This is why I never want to set a very low temperature for the air conditioner. It is not good for our health and at the same time it wastes the energy.

I think it is the stale air, rather than the cold. Some offices are new, and their air conditioners are new. I do not see anyone have running nose problem in new office.

I think the air conditioners are old, and not powerful. If the building has a central air conditioner, it will be enough to cool down everything. I think there is a need to get new and powerful ones.

The air conditioning has never bothered me.
