I have charged $2000 to my credit card this month, and I have to pay the bill next month.
In an earlier discussion, I mention that I spent 1500 in 2 days.
After that, I spent about $500 for the whole of the month.
It is spendings that I can account for, and the money is as wisely spent as I have planned for.
I will pay in full next month. I have the money in the saving account now.
Just like that, $1500 gone in just two days. This is not even due to festive shopping. $900 is to pay the balance of my cruise holiday for next year. Since I...

It is likely I will pay more since two days ago I bought the medicines for my mother-in-law. Her medicines are quite expensive. Since she would go to her hometown, so I bought the medicines for her for five months. This is why I hope people will take good care of themselves. As it is quite meaningless to spend money on the medicines. Why not use this money to enjoy a nice trip?

@scheng1 Unfortunately her illness can't be cured. In fact she has several serious illness. And she has to stick to the medicines in the rest of her life. Sometimes when I see her taking the medicine, it is just like taking the food. It is quite boring to take so many medicines everyday.

I am glad that I do not have to pay such money.
Is she going to need the medication for the rest of her life?
That will be a great burden.
I hope that she can recover, and do not need medicine anymore.
I hope that she can learn a lesson and take care of her health too.

Well I'm glad you have the money to pay it off. I know alot of people that have credit cards spend more than what they can afford to pay off.

Like you, I make it a point to pay my credit card bill in full before it is due. There is nothing that makes me so ticked than incurring interest, and spending more than I can actually pay. I actually like my credit cards - but it took lots of research and studying how credit cards work and how credit card companies operate for me to take advantage of having some time before actually using my money to pay for my needs.

Yes, once we know the period when the credit card companies run promotions, we may even get more points.
We may get mystery gifts when we hit a certain amount charged to the credit card.
I gain more from credit card because I use my points to get cash back.
I just wish that I can win more lucky draws!

Well, it's Christmas, money is to be spent if one has it. Money has no other function than to be spent, and if you have plenty, then it should be no problem.
