@jaboUK inspired this post with her post on "10 things I wonder about men". All I can say is well, women baffles men too.. This is a list I've compiled based on all the questions I've received from my male friends over the years. 1. Why do women always go to the toilet together? - "Maybe there's rainbow and unicorns in toilets"... one of them even offered. 2. Why do women say "Fine" or "Nothing" when clearly something is wrong. Try to think back what you did prior to the "Fine"... 3. Why do women always assume we'll remember the name of their friends? Ok, maybe I remember a few "fit" ones.. but that's not what she wants to hear right?! 4. Women will always always be able to tell when you're lying. How?! 5. Women always remember important dates, like birthdays, and anniversaries. How?! 6. When a group of women meet together, they can all have several conversations going without anyone getting confused. How???! 7. Women can always look at another woman and know immediately if she is "good" or "bad". I just look at her and think "yes" or "no" - this guy still wonders why he's single today. xD 8. Women always say, "men, can't live with them, can't live without them." What does that mean? Lol.. they actually don't get it. 9. Women always can't find their way around a new town. But they will always remember the names of people you've met.. why??? 10. Women will never tell you specific details, such as who, why, when, how.. WHY?? I get this one a lot... Most guys expect an operating procedure when you ask them to do something.. LOL Well...that's the list. :D To all the girls/ladies/women, do you have any advice you want to offer to the baffled guys out there? To all the dudes, any other items?? Add to the list.

How do women remember every detail of a disagreement you had six months ago that wasn't quite resolved in their mind, but was resolved in yours (because the baseball game was about to start on TV)?

Lol! Yep and those details will add onto the pile, until the last detail that broke the camel's back... Just because you stopped talking about it doesn't mean it's solved. The opposite is true, if she talks about it, you have a chance to resolve it.

Ha ha ha ha ha I loved it and I am a woman and know all that stuff. We are really good a baffling those guys with our superiority. Thank goodness men and women's brains work differently. It makes life so entertaining.

Glad you like it! It is definitely great to have the two genders think very differently. It's funny when you occasionally peer across the group and you find some really bazaar notions there.

I enjoyed reading this post, and not just the post but all the comments too. Being a Man, I have been confused about few things you mentioned like, the women remember all dates and details about everything not just in their family but also about their friends birthdays, anniversaries, and relatives. And about a certain detail, if you had an arguments 5 years ago, she can remember, at any point of time in life, the whole discussion, and can even tell you yours dialogues and how did you said it, would make you pay even 5 years later.

@Drosophila yeah that's correct. One other thing one of my friend told when a man looks at a woman, the woman can always tell from the eyes and look of the man what's in his mind. is it true??

Lol! yep your case is a common one. Not only she will remember what was said, but she'll also remember the tone it was said. The meaning of the words and all the unvoiced impact. Women remember scenes, a bit like film scenes. she can replay that scene at any time she wants to.

We are the kind and gentle gender. So we remember what the guys don't. If we didn't remember all the dates of birthdays and such well...... who would? Just yesterday my husband said to my son I thought your birthday was the 9th not the 8th. It's the 8th. Our son ( and I emphasize OUR ) is 24 years old and all this time he thought it was the 9th. OMG lol.

I loved your post. I don´t have any advice for men. They wouldn´t understand what I´m saying. And there´s no point on explaining to gals as they already know it.

As a woman, I think we like having a talk about feelings and emotions - something that most men will find cumbersome. In my opinion, the best way to deal with the confusion is to talk it out. Nicely, of course. Nothing cannot be resolved through a meaningful and peaceful conversation. Matter of fact, put the right way, this can be a good conversation starter among any friends.

Definitely! Most of the men I know are "problem solvers", they are very oriented towards talking to solve a particular issue, they don't tend to discuss "feelings" and "emotions" that often, because it is not considered part of the solution. What's not a solution is then a problem for some. xD

I want to answer the third, fourth and fifth question. Because, women is a detail people. They will remember much matters which men never caring or never remember it. I believe that a wife always remind her husband about their anniversary of their wedding. This is the great of women, they can remember detail.

You're right there! Also, I think women are naturally more interested in people and relationships, so they tend to remember more details.

How can a man who has been married to a woman for over 40 years still have no idea what size she wears, what colors she likes and what to get her for Christmas !!! It seems to be an almost universal failing. Thank goodness for daughters who bail their dads out!! And yet I can chose a gift for him, all our children, our grandkids and friends. I even know all the sizes.

@BelleStarr HAHAHAHA! good one! He could do better just to give you his credit card. My Dad has become crafty with age, he decided to book them holidays and meals instead. That way he doesn't have to stress about size color etc..

@PhredWreck the best part is, women will always ask each other, "hey Mary, am going to the loo, you want to go?" Now if Bob so much as start with his mate "hey Ken, am going to the loo.." Ken would think Bob has lost it..

Women are natural organisers and managers, as traditionally they keep the household together, and socially they remember and categorize everything according to importance. However, being a woman I can say that out GPS systems aren't quite accurate as guys, so we tend to get lost. That's all the opinion I have good post by the way

1. Why do women always go to the toilet together? It's just so we have someone to talk to while we tinkle, or we say things that we couldn't say in public lol 2. Why do women say "Fine" or "Nothing" when clearly something is wrong? We are trying to figure out how to say it without starting a fight, which almost always fails 3. Why do women always assume we'll remember the name of their friends?Because we do lol 4. Women will always always be able to tell when you're lying. How? Your body language 5. Women always remember important dates, like birthdays, and anniversaries. How?! This I can't answer because I forget everything 6. When a group of women meet together, they can all have several conversations going without anyone getting confused. How???! That's where the multi-tasking goes, god forbid we use it while we drive though :/ 7. Women can always look at another woman and know immediately if she is "good" or "bad". Again body language. 8. Women always say, "men, can't live with them, can't live without them." What does that mean? Lol. Because they're so irritating that they're wonderful lol Like when you guys leave the toilet seat up and we almost fall in. It's irritating but it's so funny 9. Women always can't find their way around a new town. But they will always remember the names of people you've met.. why??? I can't answer this because it happens to me lol If I'm in an unfamiliar place I get uncomfortable 10. Women will never tell you specific details, such as who, why, when, how.. WHY?? I get this one a lot... Most guys expect an operating procedure when you ask them to do something.. LOL Because we know you'll forget it anyway so we try to keep it short and simple. Other times we know guys don't care to hear them anyway

Wow thanks! That is a real comprehensive list of answers! I have the same probelm with Number 9, I can never navigate around a new place, with a map or not, it's just useless. I remember getting so lost in Athens it wasn't even funny, and I managed to pin point several "wrong" sections of the map.. But then I don't remember people's names either.. doh.. mayhaps it's a brain thing! lol.

@Coffinspire92 Oh I totally know what you mean, I prefer to know where I'm going, and always try to plan beforehand. Yet, I still get hopelessly lost in middle of streets and squinting over a map! It's almost like I've never planned. I definitely think men can navigate better, at least they seem to instinctively know the directions in a strange city. I on the otherhand just stand there and going.. um um a lot!

@Drosophila Lol Idk if it's girl thing or not because my brother and husband have zero problems navigating their way around, they think getting lost is a good challenge I guess and it helps them learn where they are going. I on the other hand start freaking out and thinking I'll never get home LOL
