There are some movies worth watching over and over again. They have that appeal and action that makes a movie great, along with the actors. Then there are movies you know the writers and directors were hoping you would see past the fact the action in the movie would never work, and then there is the true story feel good movie you fall in love with and you want to watch it again as soon as it's over. Now the way this laptop works for me, makes it easy to watch movies when it acts up, and movies helps me have time to get my pillows done. I have three so far and before I go to bed, I hope I'll have four. So the first movie up for consideration is Long Journey Home. When you look through the candidates for movies the paragraph about the movie makes it feel like one of those feel good movies, and it is. If you can look past this movie and the fact it isn't feasible it is a good movie. However ... Long Journey Home is about a polar bear cub who gets separated from his mother and the boy who decided to take him back to his mother. There are some harrowing situations in this movie taking place in what looks like Alaska. The boy is 14 years old and to someone like me watching this movie, completely untrained for such an adventure. In my opinion it was only the camera crew who made certain the boy didn't die of hypothermia, drown or face mauling by a polar bear cub, friendly though he seemed. The polar bear cub will win your heart over in this feel good movie you really need to look past for the feasibility aspect of it. I didn't rate this movie. If I did I would be hard put to give it more than a two for plot, and a three for acting. Next up is a classic five star movie with the actors giving laudable performances. Namely Charlton Heston and Rex Harrison in The Agony and the Ecstasy. This is a true story about painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Rex Harrison plays Pope Julius II and Charlton Heston the painter/sculptor Michelangelo. Superb movie and worth five stars. If you haven't seen this movie, it's worth your time. Last up is Eye of the Dolphin. No worries about this feel good movie. This one is a true story about a teenager who gets in trouble in school to the point of expulsion, and learns for the first time she has a father in the Bahamas. Her mother is dead and her grandmother is the one who was raising her alone. It was the grandmother who told her that her father was alive, much to his surprise when they land on his doorstep in the Bahamas. Her father is a research scientist studying dolphins and is trying to save his research from tourists. This is a wonderful movie and one I do recommend. I gave this one four stars. Acting and plot are great. I didn't recognize any of the actors, but they will charm you and make you fight for the research her father is doing. One thing they don't do in this movie is make everything look better than what it is. You see the poverty of the island, but more than the poverty you also see the generosity of the people who live there, who also starred in the movie. There you have my recommendations. All three are on Netflix. Thanks for reading

I agree with the idea, but for me those movies are ones like A Walk to Remember, or Jurassic Park or something

Two of those movies are true stories. Only Long Journey Home has a sense of unreality to it. Is that the one you mean?

@just4him I just meant movies I can watch over and over and over, I have odd ones, like Independence day, there were some action that I can rewatch and love just as much, the lethal weapons, etc.

I have to admit that I haven't seen any of those movies but I rarely watch movies.
