What do you think makes a person attractive?

I've mostly been researching why men and women do what they do together or apart and the social and physical reactions to relationships.
It's really crazy actually, apparently what makes you physically attractive is completely subconscious. What makes a person attractive usually has to do with how symmetrical their face and body is and their proportions. Supposedly, it means you have good genetics and subconsciously to the opposite sex it means that you will bear/give healthy babies that will also pass on your genetics.
What do you think makes a person attractive?

For me, the person I'm attracted to has to have a warm personality. I don't care how beautiful a girl is, if she doesn't have a great personality then I'm not into her.

I won't be a hypocrite so I will say Physical attraction does matter but It will be amplified by personality. I find someone who have a great personality and also interest really intriguing. I do believe beauty is skin deep but people should still give effort in looking good because if you look good, you feel good,

@Coffinspire92 There are attractive people though who are physically attractive but I dont find attractive but their personality were either despicable or bland. I dont find those people attractive.
I am not a perfectionist but I do look for an almost complete package.

I'm glad you can recognize that. I really can't be attracted to someone that I'm not physically attracted to AND attracted to their personality. I guess I'm weird :/

@dpk262006 Well, I think that in addition to physical attributes, intelligence, kindness, humor, wit, conversational abilities, talent, a good disposition, confidence, and many, many more traits make a person attractive.

@Dalane - Yes, I completely agree with you that physical attributes, intelligence, kindness, humor, wit, conversational abilities, talent, a good disposition and confidence etc. are important to attract the other person. Those who do not have confidence and guts to talk to other person, cannot attract him/her.

To me I think the attitude in some one that is fro me if it is a bad attitude and always mean and loud mouthed and full of them selves? I hate that! I don't think for me looks have anything to do with making someone attractive, I think it would be a nice personality and know how to jole around and not be serious all the time!

You're talking physical beauty there. But what makes a person attractive after they've passed the pretty/handsome enough test probably varies a lot person to person. For me, it has a lot to do with how curious they are about things, and whether I feel supported yet challenged when we have conversations.

When I was still single, I find men who are tall, smart and confident attractive.Also, I have a soft spot for men who are soft-spoken and chivalrous.However, if the man has these qualities but does not know how to treat a woman appropriately, it is a major turn off.
