Some Interesting Facts about Gmail.

I think all of us use gmail as the mailing platform. Well, here are a few interesting facts I found out about the same : i) If you are registered with an email id, say aakash12@gmail.com, then all the permutations of the letters of the email id and any number of dots (.) are also your gmail ids, provided the sequence of letters or digits remains the same. For instance, in this case a.a.ka.s.h.12@gmail.com, aa.kash.1.2@gmail.com and infinitely many other gmail ids belong to the user registered with aakash12@gmail.com on gmail. ii) While writing a message, the url changes in real time as there is a buffer period of almost 10 seconds after which the mail you are writing gets saved in Drafts, due to which the static url can't work and thus, the url must be dynamic so that the mail you are writing in progress remains dynamically saved. That is why, even if your laptop gets shut down suddenly, your mail still gets stored in the drafts folder automatically. The most amazing thing is that, the url which gets generated when you open up the mail saved in the Drafts folder is same as the last url which was generated while writing the mail.

The first point I came to know about when I sent an email to my friend's email address and by-mistake added a dot at the end. He still received the email. So, I experimented it upon, The second point, I came to know about from my brother.
