Hello Lotters,
This early morning our maid who was invited here by Mom, finally went back to the province with her son. She was here before your Grandmother came to visit, she was the maid who helped us arrange the contents of the house and made sure it was clean because grandma was a neat freak.
I'm happy that after a month of stay, she gets to go home. It should have been a lot earlier because of his son, misses his wife and homesick from work. And I really thought she's going to leave around the 27th but She needs to spent christmas with the family.
But I'm sad that she may never actually come back, because of the following: first, our relatives tend to discriminate and threatened her everytime she goes back because they envy her that she's always been invited by mom and not them. Because they are bunch of greedy and thieves! Secondly, She hasn't change a bit and still make the maid cry. I don't know what is it with Grandma that she always thinks of them so Low and gets mad at them, specially when she's not doing it right.
I've observed her while the maid and his son was eating, She looked like she wanted to lash out and monitoring what they eat (as usual).
It's hard to swallow but I do want my relatives to visit here in the 27th because I wanted to show her what we have lost.
That Maid has been a family friend since even before I was born. the one who took care of my brothers, only met her recent years ago. She's more of a family than the relatives we had.
Now, I feel sorry that Mom will have to put up with her until she finds a substitute maid and caretaker to my grandma. No, I'm just not that qualified. Spending with her the whole day has literally cut my online earning thing in HALF.
In my opinion, she could be earning thousands if she had the money to work abroad.

Hello @Shiva49 not really in terms of physical but it's like she's never satisfied and there are times she just forget what she tells you and then she gets mad if you leave. I don't want to be like this when i get old

@Letranknight2015 - it is a fact we change over time - every ten years or so. This is due to physical issues and mental, also financial. But some spread happiness all their lives and I salute them - siva

Hello @salonga Don't worry she has a lot of clients back in the province, she never had to worry about work there. though not much but definitely a lot more than here. We treat her like a real family member, it's just that my grandma is kinda super strict and a bit aggressive sometimes.

it's very hard to find domestic help now, when i was a kid we always have 2 or 3 and another one to do the ironing and laundry, now the good ones are going abroad, they would just laugh at what we could offer them here, I'm sorry to say but what is left to us are sometimes the rejects (denied abroad), too old or probably a little lacking in intelligence and aptitude when it comes to the work but we just have to bare with it, better than none at all. A good maid is like a gem these days and i,m sorry you lost her.

Hello @louievill She's one of the good ones. in fact she makes more money than she makes here at home. We really need her but she doesn't deserve to get paid peanuts and a tempered granny. She's a gem because she is also a family friend, hope for the best for her.

I am sorry that the maid has left and may not return. I am glad she will be able to spend time with her own family though, and I am sure she misses her family terribly. It's sad that some members of your family can not treat the maid fairly or with the respect she deserves.

Hello @ScribbledAdNauseum we hope she (grandma) would change and if that was the case, she would only take a vacation. but she didn't and we knew she can't handle it the moment she started to like the way she used to. Except her, every one in the family Love and respect her.
