What's your take on employment gap? How long it should be? Best things to do during this important break?

3-6 month, if longer make sure you have something to show for it, volunteer, additional course, business etc

@Marcyaz taking a break is important, just be sure people realise it's an active decision, not cos you can't find a job. xD

It should only be until you find another job. In the meantime you can take some classes to upgrade whatever it is you do or volunteer so you have something to show on a resume.
