Dream a little Dream of You

I have some of the most vivid dreams when I open myself up to them. Here lately I've not been remembering my dreams. I suppose it's because my body is waking up faster. I've read studies that say you only dream for about a minute and only in the few minutes before you awake. So while a dream might seem to last an entire night, in truth it is only the first few moments before full wakefulness.
I used to be able to recall my dreams with clarity, and on occasion I still can. That is not what I wanted to talk about here though.
I was wracking my brain for something to write here as it's a dismal early mylot morning here. One dream popped into my head and it was one that many of you may remember me sharing.
It started out with my travelling to see family. I was quite quick with my explanation of that because the most vivid part, and the most frightful, was on the trip back. You see I had dreamt up a little stand of peculiar gifts that a purveyor was selling. In my dream state I was at a place up the road from where I currently live. The place looked a bit different, and in my dream I had imagined myself back in time.
I still have not yet gotten to the frightening part. In the dream, I was looking at a few items and had almost forgotten to put one item back. I did, however, remember before going to the vehicle we were travelling in. The purveyor was none too pleased though. She had her son, who was in appearance only 8 or so years of age, to chase us. Chase us he did, but you see the frightful part was that he was on foot, whilst we were in the vehicle.
Did I mention he was able to keep up?
We did finally outrun him, but seeing him run so quickly was quite the fright. My subconscious imagined him to be a ghost instead of a real being.
Now that I think about it, my dream seems quite similar to a movie I once watched. It gave me the "creepers"

you vividly recall your dreams. As long as they are not nightmares, I think your mind is colorful like the rainbow.
