The Bone Clocks is by David Mitchell. He is same author that wrote Cloud Atlas, Black Swan Green, and The Thousand Augusts of Jacob de Zoet. I think he is a great storyteller. The Bone Clocks is like Cloud Atlas where it goes forward in time. It starts in 1984. (I was 4 years old then.) It ends in 2043. Like Stephen King, I think this book is David Mitchell’s universe. It has mentions of his other books in this book. Big Warning though this book is crazy and a little confusing. He doesn’t explain everything until near the end of the book. It’s still a great book. The Bone Clocks is mainly about a girl named Holly Sykes. She runs away from home until her brother gets kidnapped. She meets some mean and evil people along her journey in time. She does meet one good person named Marius who helps her get away from the bad people. This was an awesome book. David wrote a new book called The Slate House which I have put on hold.
