Plan B

Two days before Christmas and I have all nine pillows finished with the first phase and ready to stencil and stuff. Change of plans. The problem was, I didn't have a backup plan. You see the stencil's didn't work and I didn't know what else to do except go back to Michael's and get a Plan B. After presenting my problem to one of the staff members she came up with the solution to my problem, and was almost defeated in the solution. It is after all two days before Christmas and even craft stores run out of merchandize. The solution was iron on letters. It took several different types of iron on letters to get all that I needed to complete this project, and now the letters are in place with the help of liquid stitch. I will also iron them on, and then I will stuff and stitch the final seams. I will have the pillows finished tomorrow. And as soon as they're finished I will have my son take photos of them before I wrap them so I can show them to you. I've been working on it all day, and now I'm taking time to spend with you before I get back to work. Thanks for reading.

Most of us are quite busy and right now I should be in bed with an early wake up tomorrow but had to do a little here on the site.

I know cost was a concern, all this extra stuff, did it still come out ok on price?

Each individual letter was over a dollar apiece and then there was the permanent liquid stitch I used, so the total price for Plan B was $77+ but well worth it. When I consider how much the total cost of this project was, it was a lot less than it would have been had I bought everyone a gift. But there is no way to put a price on something like this. Now they all have a piece of Mom and they all loved their pillows.
