I still remember that December 26th of each year was boxing day while I was still in Canada. It was a day we have never heard of in Hong Kong many years ago but right now, we do have such a day for business in here as well. I still remember that people were going crazy on that day because many things were on sale and people just love to spend lots of money to buy something cheaper. Shoes , food, socks, hand bags ,etc. You name it. The shopping mall really created an atmosphere for everyone to take a look and buy something on that day. No wonder many people spent more money with their credit cards during this holidays and need to use more than 6 months to pay back all these money. Well, I would day that it is a good day for a walk with your family and spend just a few bucks on food and something cheap, but never over spending with your credit cards and make yourself to live on debts because of Christmas. It is not the purpose of Christmas anyway. Well, maybe be you have different ways to spend your money on Boxing Day. Share with us .

My money will stay in my bank accounts on that day. I do not fall for those tricks.

It will not happen in Singapore and Hong Kong. Chinese New Year is not far away, so there will not be deep discounts from the merchants to get rid of old stocks. I think the only thing that will have deep discount after Chinese New Year is the mandarin oranges.

It used to be a really big deal in the UK but these days the sales start much earlier and the better bargains tend to be online.
