Are You Bowled Over Yet?

Have you had your fill of bowl games? Well the best is yet to come. I am rather selective. I like the big games, but shy away from the mediocre games. There are too many of them. Also, too many early contests have been blowouts. That's not entertaining. What do you think?

@ElizabethWallace Thank you Elizabeth. I am getting pretty fed up with people forgetting that we don't all live in the same country and writing posts that mean nothing to non Americans.

@boiboing Americans assume that everyone watches television and believe that we all see the same programs. None of this is true, however. Please remember that most Americans live in isolation and have not travelled. They think the whole world is just like their little community. Another huge falsehood.

These are football contests which were created in order to make money for all sorts of already wealthy people at the cost of the future medical and mental problems of the players.

I played bowling some once and awhile when I was a kid. Then when I grew up and had kids of my own I put them into bowling youth leagues, which they liked a lot. I joined some leagues where it did not matter what your average was because I did have some physical disabilities that kept me from bowling real good.

I think all Americans should see the movie Concussion. After doing so, they may not want to support the business (not game) of football.
