Been away for a while. Reflecting on the times. Seeking God's counsel on the things Christians we taking for granted. I was studying the origin of X-mas, the X-mas tree, Santa clause and many more. The result is just shocking. We need to be sober and vigilant. That would be my message to all Believers. I also got to study the picture attached and I couldn't think of a better word than idolatry. God may you open the spiritual eyes of your people that they may see. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN

I admire you for having the desire to study the origin of Christmas, the Christmas Tree, Santa Clause and many other things related to Christmas.

the Bible teaches as to test the spirit 1 John 4:1, not to be swayed waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine Ephesians 4:14, Be of sober spirit, be on the alert 1 Peter 5:8, pagan ceremonies 1 Corinthians 10:20,Ephesians 5:11 - And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. and many many more

@jbaraka It would be a hearth warming sight to watch Christians and non Christians co exist with ech other in peace and in harmony inspite of their different beliefs. Unity in diversity is what this world needs.

Believers are commanded to worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24). Christians should not continue to hold to the traditions of man. Nearly everyone knows Jesus wasn't born December 25, and Christians adhering to that tradition because the Catholic Church decreed it so destroys their witness ("you believe in a day that you know isn't true, what else do you believe that really isn't true?"). There's another sticky wicket coming up in three months, when Christians have to explain why "Easter" is coming a month before Passover, when the Bible clearly says Jesus was crucified on Passover...
