Today is a busy day. My parents are coming for a visit. They should be here in five or six hours depending on traffic. It is a 12 hour drive for them, yet they still make it every year after Christmas. I actually like the company and am glad they are coming. I enjoy fixing the room up for them. Do you travel over the holidays or are you the one stuck preparing for guests?

I don't have anyone staying overnight, but I always cook the Christmas dinner for whoever of my family and friends that are around. I hope you enjoy your parents' visit - that's a really long drive for them.

It is a long drive. Luckily they can still do it. They take two days to get here. They don't drive straight through. I don't drive straight through either anymore. I like having guests. It's fun to cook sometimes to.

It's too bad you don't travel. It can be relaxing to get out of your house and stay somewhere else. I like having guests though.

Christmas day is just for the household. My family lives in another state so they stay together with each other Christmas day. My folks leave the day after Christmas to visit with us. Enjoy your holidays.

My parents visit me in winter because I live in Florida. I visit them during the summer. Sometimes I go North in the winter just for the cooler weather.
