When I sit down to write, I try to think about things that other people would enjoy reading. Since I am a self-proclaimed TRIVIA NUT, I'm always looking for unusual facts that bring a smile or a look of surprise to my own face and hopefully to others.
There are so many little known facts, which is what TRIVIA is all about. Knowing these facts is not important to the average person, but to those of us who thrive on these odd and unusual bits of information, they are like small gems that we have discovered in this crazy world.
Almost like little treasures that we can share with others. And if others are impressed with our "infinite knowledge" on a variety of subjects, it makes us feel special somehow. And to be known as someone who is a trivia expert is FUN. I love it!
My family and friends know that I'm into the trivia thing and come to me for answers sometimes. I'm always sharing some tidbit of information with them about something. They also like to share odd facts with me and ask me questions to see if I know the answer. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't, but I appreciate learning still another bit of information from them.
Obviously, there are more things that I DON'T know than what I do know. So, it's always fun to learn something new.
Do you like trivia and trivia games?

@IreneVincent I love trivia, those little obscure bits of knowledge. It is partly what steers my writing.

Oh good! I have found at least one trivia friend on here. What is your favorite TYPE of trivia. I'm into Geography. I love to learn about different countries and I have memorized all the state capitals and most of the international capitals. I also love Bible questions. I am a Bible reader.
I like questions about the Earth and other planets and animals and people.

@IreneVincent Trivia and unknown facts are fun things. I usually subscribe to several newsletter that refer to unknown things or to the past and then I get ideas to write about. I also surf the net for interesting ideas.

@IreneVincent I like trivia about the body, history, bible, and so many other subjects. I guess you could say I am a trivia nut.
