This is a movie about a young girl named Heidi who lives in Switzerland, she receives a legacy and goes to a girls school in Italy. She befriends some orphans and when War breaks out she is taken to the orphanage by the evil owner. Her grandfather has not heard from her and wants to go to Italy but he is not able to travel that far and the neighbor man says he will go and find her. The rest of the movie is fun of twists and turns. You will have to watch the movie to find out what happens. I saw this on Amazon last night and it really held my interest, staring Charlie Sheen and Leslie Caron.

Oh I loved the two novels about Heidi the 'girl from te alps and an old movie about her, but tis is new to me b ut I would love t o see it. I can see its based on those two novels maybe loosely but so unds lie a movie I would love

He is not the main character so you don't see that much of him in it.
