Cat Fight!

I'm sitting at my desk, just doing my thing. Meanwhile, on the ugly chair (now covered with a nice throw) Rygel and Heidi were grooming each other. However, as it often happens, it soon evolved. Next thing I know, Rygel and Heidi are biting and throwing each other around. And Heidi is hissing. That's because Heidi is a bit of a bully, which means if she is losing, she's afraid. So, I had to chase Rygel off so she'd calm down again. Now she's got the chair to herself.

Poor babies. I wonder why it escalates from grooming to fighting?

Sometimes it just does. The Doctor, I cat I used to have would get seriously angry if it escalated, and he was big enough to throw his weight around.

@simone10 Some cats just do that, lure the other cat into complacency and then turn on the bites

@ElicBxn Maybe they are just temperamental and after a little grooming they want to call it quits but one doesn't and the fight begins.
